Recent studies on inflammation reinforce traditional theories that eating dark coloured fruits, rich in antioxidant chemicals called polyphenols, can help ease the pain and stiffness of osteoarthritis.

Increasing dietary intake of blueberries, cranberries and other dark fruits is sound advice, but difficult to follow when such fruits have a limited growing season. To address the need for antioxidant protection year-round, WN Pharmaceuticals of British Columbia has used a patented technology to produce a concentrate of seven different berries and fruits that contains 76 percent polyphenols. This ultra fruit blend has been named "InflamEase" due to its ability to counteract the inflammation that occurs around damaged joints. It is produced in Canada and used in OsteoJoint ease supplements.

Inflammation is a natural reaction to cellular damage but too much inflammation causes pain, swelling and stiffness. Research suggests that this antioxidant fruit concentrate, especially when combined with other joint supportive nutrients (eg: glucosamine sulfate and collagen) can make it possible for osteoarthritis sufferers to find natural relief and protection for their joints.
