The CareToKnow.org members Directory has been completely redesigned with what we think are some pretty great features. To make them work, we need you to log in and update your profile - it will just take a few minutes!

Health Topic Interests - Update Your Profile today!
Now you can search for community members by Health Topic interest, and engage directly with others on a common topic of interest.
Current members need to log in and update their profiles with health topic interests. You may select as few or as many as you wish. New members will be prompted to select their choices on the Registration page.
Update your profile to add your Interests: First, log in, and:
1. From the "Tools" menu in the main site navigation, select 'Account Settings'.
2. Scroll to the "Interests" box in the middle of the page
3. From the drop down menu, select a topic. A second drop down menu of sub-topics will appear, so that you can refine your choice (for example, Chronic Diseases > Diabetes).
4. Click the 'Add' button.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to continue adding more interests.
6. Click 'Save' at the bottom, to save your changes.
The top selected health topic terms will be listed on the main page of the directory. These links will take you a listing of community members who have selected those topics.
You can change or remove interests from your profile at anytime by returning to your Account Settings page.
You can also access your profile at anytime from your Dashboard, the page you are directed to when you log in. Click on the 'View Profile' button at the top right of your screen.
Don't Let Yourself be Faceless!
While you're updating your profile, also within Account Settings, please take a moment to upload a profile picture. Read our easy steps to upload a profile picture.
3 New Ways to Connect with the CareToKnow.org Community
You can also now search for people with new options at the top of the Directory page:
- Selecting a filter of community member type (Individuals, Professionals, Organizations, Researchers)
- Selecting a filter of Health Topic Interests
- Typing in their partial or full name.
To connect with a particular community member, click the 'Add to Friends' or 'Send Message' link below their name.
Adding community members to your Friends network allows you to engage directly with one another, and to post content that is limited to just your CareToKnow.org friends.
