We Are Looking for Guest Bloggers

Hi everyone! We are starting a (semi) regular guest blog on CareToKnow.org and we’re looking for guest bloggers to write one or a few blog posts. The blog will have a focus on “digging deeper into the patient / client experience”, and will be updated on Tuesdays.

Here are some ideas for topics:

• What does client/family-centered or family-engaged care mean to you, and how have you experienced or delivered it?
• Stories and examples that you have of the ‘best’ patient experience
• Caring for a family member or friend
• Living with a chronic disease
• Health care professionals, a ‘day in the life’ of your practice
• Putting research into practice
• A blog about a particular project you’ve been involved in, or your research and learning
• Perspectives on new health research, translated into plain language

The blog posts should be well-researched, relevant, and an average of 500-750 words.

CareToKnow.org is a social network for two-way health knowledge exchange, support and conversations. Our objectives are: 1) to create an online community of individuals, family caregivers, health professionals, researchers, organizations and policy stakeholders across Canada; and 2) to provide an open forum for the exchange of ideas and dialogue that can create change in the health system right through to delivery of care. We welcome the diverse perspectives of individuals, patients, caregivers, clinicians, nurses, personal support workers, gerontologists, researchers, and anyone else interested in home and community care.

We'd love for you to blog with us! To participate, please send us a message with our Contact Us form, and choose subject line option #1, CareToKnow.org community and content.

You will get full credit for your posts, with a link to your site or CareToKnow.org profile, and short bio. We will accept final copy sent via email.
