04/12/2010 (All day) - 04/14/2010 (All day) Canada’s 2nd Annual Forum on Patient Safety and Quality Improvement 2010 will provide multiple learning streams with a national and international flavour. The program for the forum will provide opportunity for a variety of professionals to participate, including, but not limited to, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, health care providers, educators, leaders, researchers, and board members.

April 12 - 14, 2010 - Toronto, ON, Westin Harbour Castle
With the key message of patient safety and quality improvement, Canada’s Forum:
- Focuses on the needs and expectations of front-line practitioners and decision-makers;
- Focuses on learning and skill development for the entire continuum of care; and
- Focuses on a hands-on approach to patient safety and quality improvement
The learning streams for Canada’s Forum will fall under the following areas:
- Building Skills in Quality and Safety
- Infection Prevention & Control
- Medication Safety
- Partnering for Patient Safety
- Learning from Adverse Events
- Building a Culture of Safety and Quality
